Classic Clubmans 2010 season scoring - clarification
There has been some confusion and disagreement about the scoring system to be used for the Classic Clubmans Championship in 2010. The system is given in section 1.6 of the issued regulations. However, in section 1.6.1 an ambiguity crept in at the first bullet point arising from the words in brackets "(reduced subject to the number of starters in each class)". It has been agreed in e-mail discussions between myself, Gavin Childs, Jamie Champkin and Dale Wells (BARC) that these words in brackets will be treated as errata and of no effect (i.e. effectively deleted). In all other respects the scoring system remains as published in the regulations but we will revisit the points system before publication of the regulations for next season (2011).Ian Mitchell
